Good Morning Crafty Friends!
I know it has been more then a month since I posted here and I apologize. May was a hectic month for me as I started going back to school and I needed time to transition. On top of all that my card making mojo is on hiatus. It's happened to me before and it does eventually return. With that being said, Stampin' Up!'s new annual catalogue went live on June 1st and I was able to get my hands on a whole bunch of great new products. Of course, like every addict, I had to get my fix as soon as possible so I had my order express shipped to me! It arrived yesterday and spent most of the evening organizing and cataloguing my new goodies - my obsessive need for organization is always present.
I really haven't had a chance to make anything with the new items yet, but I can feel my inspiration returning. So my goal is to make and film at least two new cards this month and I have several samples to complete for upcoming workshops.
So without further ado... I present to you the new
2016 - 2017 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue.
I have to say that as a whole I'm very impressed with the products in this catalogue - especially the new 2016 - 2018 In-Colours. They are fresh and right on trend for this year. I will have more on the In-Colours in another post later this week.

#5. Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder
It's such a lovely shade of copper and goes so nicely with so many of the Stampin' Up! colours - especially Night of Navy. Copper is really on trend for this year and Stampin' Up! has also included some copper foiled papers in their Designer Series Paper Packages and copper string, I'm so excited to use this!

#4. Baby Bear - Photopolymer Stamp Set
OMG! How cute this set is?!? I have a million ideas for baby cards and cards for kids. On top of that this stamp is a triple layer stamp so the colour combinations you can make with it are endless!

#3. Foxy Friends Photopolymer Stamp Set & Fox Builder Punch
This particular set had me intrigued from the moment I saw it - initially I thought it would be only good for cards for kids but as I started to look at the samples the more I thought, hey, this would be so cute as a Christmas card and that exactly why I bought it - check out the picture, there are a pair of antlers that you can use with the fox. I'm so excited to get started with this one!

#2. Seaside Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
The only thing that did disappoint me with this new catalogue was that I was hoping for more masculine themed stamps and although there were a couple, they are not something that would appeal to the men in my life. However, there is this awesome new embossing folder - check out the wave pattern! Stampin' Up! has several great nautical themed stamp sets, both current and retired and this will bring in some much needed dimension.

#1. The Floral Boutique Ensemble
All I can say is WOW! Check out these co-ordinating items - the ideas are endless and I love the Whisper White and Night of Navy together - add in a little copper and be still my heart! Cards made with this set of products will be elegant and beautiful. I can't wait to get started on a wedding card.
